Position Overview
The Assistant Global Program Manager (AGPM) supports the Global Program Manager (GPM) and in-country partner teams in implementing and monitoring community-led development programs in Myanmar, Zambia and future expansion sites. This includes logistical, administrative, and analytical assistance with program execution, capacity-building support, financial tracking, and data collection for reporting and evaluation. The AGPM plays a key role in ensuring program quality and effectiveness through structured coordination, follow-up, and internal communication. This position requires international travel, a valid passport is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Implementation & Operational Support (40%)
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of program activities across country offices.
- Support scheduling, note-taking, and follow-up for meetings with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Help organize and document program reviews and site visits; Provide findings to Global Program Manager when requested.
- Assist with reviewing “budget vs. actual spend” reports and flag discrepancies.
- Maintain project timelines, trackers, and performance dashboards.
- Help collect, clean, and prepare monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data for review and reporting.
2. Partner Support & Capacity-Building (30%)
- Support training logistics and delivery (e.g., developing materials, coordinating attendance).
- Contribute in developing partner tools (templates, M&E forms, tracking sheets).
- Assist in gathering case studies and “lessons learned” from the field.
- Collaborate in preparing reports or briefs for sharing across country programs.
3. Program Expansion & Development (15%)
- Support research on potential partners, expansion geographies, and alignment with VPM (Village Partnership Model).
- Help maintain a database of potential collaborators or NGOs in targeted regions.
- Assist in summarizing new program proposals, innovations, or pilot designs.
4. Organizational Support (15%)
- Contribute to narrative donor reports by drafting content from data or field updates.
- Support the Development Manager and GPM in researching and assembling grant proposals.
- Draft content for newsletters, blogs, or other program-related communication.
- Assist in preparing reports and slide decks for Board meetings and internal reviews.

Core Attributes and Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in international development, public health, nonprofit management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in program coordination or nonprofit project support.
- Experience in a global or multicultural work setting is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and time management skills; attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Basic financial literacy; comfort reading and understanding budgets and reports.
- Familiarity with M&E tools and data organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Cultural humility/curiosity and willingness to learn from diverse perspectives.
- Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, mission-driven, self-directed and a sense of humor.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Other Expectations
- Willingness to travel internationally 1–2 times per year, including to rural areas.
- Flexibility and a collaborative spirit; comfortable working with a lean team.

WHAT WE OFFER:
Salary Range: $50,000 – $58,000 depending on experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt position
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWQ) we are disclosing the compensation for this position.
